Key Power Electronics Engineer Position

  • We are seeking a skilled and innovative power electronics engineer to design, develop, and test advanced electronic systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in power conversion technologies, circuit design, and system integration for applications such as data center server power supplies, renewable energy systems, or industrial automation.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex power electronic converters, including AC/DC, DC/DC, Totem-pole PFC, T-type, Vienna Rectifier, LLC, Buck, Boost, SR, Flyback, and other converter topologies.
  • Perform calculations, simulations, and modeling using tools like LTspice, PSIM, Mathcad, and others.
  • Select and evaluate power components, including MOSFETs, IGBTs, capacitors, resistors, magnetics, and other relevant components.
  • Develop control algorithms for power converters and implement them on embedded platforms.
  • Conduct thermal and EMI/EMC testing and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, firmware, and mechanical engineers.
  • Support prototyping, testing, and validation of power electronic systems.
  • Document designs, test procedures, and report test results.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Power Electronics, with 2-5 years' experience in the field.
  • Strong understanding of power electronics theory and applications.
  • Proficiency in circuit design and simulation tools.
  • Experience with embedded systems and digital control of power converters.
  • Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards (UL, IEC, ISO).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with Open Compute Project (OCP) standards.
  • Hands-on experience with GaN/SiC devices and advanced magnetics design.
  • Hands-on experience with PCB layout and thermal management.
  • Proficiency with Python scripts.
