Electronics Engineer Position

This is a unique opportunity to lead the design and integration of high-performance electronics, including power supplies, laser drivers, thermal control, and safety systems.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in power/control electronics for laser or electro-optic systems.
  • A strong background in embedded systems, analog/digital design, and thermal management is essential.
  • Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD, PSpice, LTSpice) is also required.

The successful applicant will be responsible for designing and integrating high-voltage power electronics, laser drivers, and thermal/safety control systems. They will also develop and test PCB layouts and prototypes; troubleshoot and validate hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and integrate high-voltage power electronics, laser drivers, and thermal/safety control systems.
  • Develop and test PCB layouts and prototypes; troubleshoot and validate hardware.
  • Ensure designs meet EMI/EMC and laser safety standards.
  • Collaborate across optics, mechanical, software, and systems teams.
  • Produce detailed technical documentation and maintain configuration control.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • 5+ years in power/control electronics for laser or electro-optic systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
