NIE invites applications for the position of Manager, Continuing Education and Training (CET) in the Office of Graduate Studies & Professional Learning.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will oversee the Continuing Education and Training (CET) admin team and provide support to the Associate Dean and Assistant Dean in strengthening the growth of CET at NIE. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing strategic plans for new programs and courses
  2. Reviewing certifications and courses to ensure quality and relevance
  3. Implementing policies and procedures for program management
  4. Managing budgets and funding for CET programs
  5. Securing additional funding from external sources
  6. Providing secretariat support for meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  7. Developing and implementing outreach strategies for CET
  8. Managing course scheduling, application, and admission processes
  9. Implementing and enhancing IT systems for CET
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. A university degree
  2. At least 4 to 7 years of experience at the managerial level, preferably in an educational institution
  3. Experience and knowledge of Continuing Education & Training in Singapore, including SSG processes
  4. Knowledge of policies, guidelines, and procedures related to micro-credential programs
  5. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  6. Strong interpersonal skills, including experience in teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  8. Meticulous attention to detail
  9. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  10. Self-motivation, resourcefulness, and adaptability
  11. Proficiency in proposal, report, and minutes writing
  12. Proficiency in making and delivering presentations
  13. Proficiency in using IT tools such as Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat
