Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the successful launch of new products from development to manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management skills, with experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and driving projects forward.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing project plans to support new product introduction activities
  • Collaborating with R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth transition from development to manufacturing
  • Leading or participating in project meetings to plan and implement project schedules
  • Coordinating operational readiness for pilot development, trial manufacturing, and initial mass production
  • Conducting readiness reviews, post-build reviews, and compiling reports
  • Optimizing existing processes and implementing technical breakthroughs through lean/Six Sigma methodology
  • Working with PMO and R&D to develop initial product cost estimates and monitoring costs against targets
  • Participating in cost reductions where possible
  • Conducting project assessments with investment, resource, and feasibility studies
  • Leading project planning sessions and kaizen events for issue resolution and problem-solving
  • Maintaining and ensuring systems and procedures are compliant with quality standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree (Honors) in Engineering
  • PMP certification (preferred)
  • Relevant experience in leading projects in new product introduction, product development, and manufacturing
