Food Service Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Operations professional to support our restaurant management team in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant activities, including coordinating with the kitchen and chef to ensure timely food service.
- Engage with customers in person or via phone to handle reservations and event enquiries, responding promptly and professionally to customer feedback or requests.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with guests to understand and exceed expectations, upholding high standards of service, cleanliness, and hospitality at all times.
- Manage staff rostering and provide mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong experience in restaurant operations or a similar role, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A customer-focused mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach, combined with knowledge of food service coordination and wine/liquor pairing.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment, with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
