Job Title: Consultant/Senior Consultant - Data Governance & Global Markets

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Consultant to spearhead transformative initiatives within leading financial institutions. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will drive innovation across technology, data, and information management, shaping the landscape of client projects and organizational strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with managers and key stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of client initiatives, focusing on conceptualizing, designing, and implementing data-driven financial and risk analytics solutions.
  2. Leverage your expertise to innovate, build, and maintain robust data solutions that address business challenges, including reviewing data requirements and ensuring master data integrity.
  3. Identify areas for data quality enhancement and implement strategies to resolve data quality issues, working closely with program/project managers and subject matter experts (SMEs).
  4. Define and implement data strategy, policies, and controls to ensure the accuracy, completeness, security, and reliability of enterprise data, particularly in areas such as client valuation, pricing, and product development.
  5. Design and implement enterprise data governance and security strategies, including encryption, masking, and authorization methods, to safeguard sensitive information.
  6. Provide valuable data insights to business and functional teams, recommending enhancements to data consolidation and streamlining data collection and reporting processes through automation.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
  2. Proven experience in data governance, analytics, or related roles within the financial services industry.
  3. Strong analytical and technical skills, with a track record of developing and implementing data solutions to address business needs.
  4. Expertise in data management, governance, and quality assurance, with a focus on maintaining master data integrity and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Familiarity with data security principles and best practices, including encryption methods and access controls.
  6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  7. Prior experience working in consulting will be advantageous.
  8. Candidates without consulting experience but with prior experience working as Data/Financial Analyst in global markets/banking front office roles are welcome to apply.

Additional Information

Due to the short timeline to start, we are ideally looking at candidates who are based in Singapore and who do not require Visa Sponsorship.
