Strategic Corporate Services Director

Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) is a leading organization promoting disability sports in Singapore. We seek a seasoned CORPORATE SERVICES DIRECTOR to drive our financial, human resource, and governance functions.
Estimated Salary: SGD 120,000 - 180,000 per annum,
based on location and industry standards.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will oversee the financial health of SDSC, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Guiding financial health: Managing budgets, cash flow, and financial reporting.
- Ensuring smooth operations: Overseeing HR functions, collaborating with vendors, and managing special projects.
- Upholding strong governance: Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
Governance, Financial Management & Control:
The CORPORATE SERVICES DIRECTOR will be responsible for:
- Managing month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and financial statements preparation.
- Overseeing daily financial operations, encompassing accounting, reporting, and compliance.
- Preparing management, statutory, and other reports as required by the Board and Committees or pursuant to applicable regulations.
- Coordinating audits, ensuring adherence to financial regulations.
- Supporting cash flow management and providing projections for planning.
- Setting and monitoring annual budgets and expenses.
- Administering financial systems, maintaining their accuracy and functionality.
HUMAN RESOURCE POLICIES AND ADMINISTRATION:
The CORPORATE SERVICES DIRECTOR will also be responsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with MOM and relevant laws and regulations.
- Implementing and overseeing compensation and benefits frameworks.
- Managing staff recruitment, engagement, and payroll administration.
Additional Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will collaborate with vendors to ensure proper management of insurance, IT, and data management systems and undertake additional ad hoc tasks as required by the Executive Director.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, preferably with professional accounting certification.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant managerial experience.
- Experience in HR and charities governance is advantageous, with a preference for candidates who have sector-specific experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
