Job Title: Technical Officer in Music Education

We are seeking a highly skilled and resourceful Technical Officer to join our team at the School of Music. This is a 10-month contract position that requires technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for music education.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and processing recordings and livestreaming of events, including recital examinations, academic and performance classes, lectures, masterclasses, and seminars. They will also process footage and upload it to relevant channels for review by lecturers and other stakeholders.

  • Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of facilities in studios and classrooms

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Diploma qualification in music or arts discipline, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the arts/music/entertainment industry. You should be resourceful and proactive in addressing issues, possess good organisational and coordination skills, and be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
