About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, assurance, and compliance, with experience in managing quality teams and implementing quality frameworks.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all food safety, quality-related, and non-compliance issues are investigated and corrective measures are implemented and adhered to.

Responsibilities:

">
  1. To lead and manage the quality team to ensure productive and high-performance work environment.
  2. To develop, implement, monitor, and/or improve quality frameworks and standard operating procedures.
  3. To implement and uphold food safety and hygiene standards; risk assessments; quality specifications; documentation, and procedures to comply with SFA, FSSC 22000, HACCP etc statutory requirements and company policies.
  4. To drive projects and initiatives to ensure compliance with Food Quality, Safety & Hygiene standards and requirements.
  5. To support production team to trouble-shoot and resolve any product quality issues.
  6. To prepare Quality and Performance reports for submission to Senior Management.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of SFA, FSSC / ISO 22K, GMP , HACCP and other food-related requirements and regulations in Singapore.
  • Hands-on experience in similar industry settings.
  • Good understanding of food safety, health, and environmental safety audit requirements.
  • Demonstrates leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Independent, proactive, and meticulous.

Education, Experience & Training:

  • Diploma/ Degree in Food Science/ Technology or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years of experience in the Food Manufacturing / Food Production industry.
  • Candidates with lesser experience will be considered for an executive role.
