Job Overview:

The IT Project Manager role is pivotal in driving successful project delivery by spearheading strategic planning, meticulous execution, and diligent oversight.

Key responsibilities include defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project outcomes.

Additionally, the IT Project Manager must identify and mitigate risks proactively, communicate project progress and outcomes effectively to stakeholders and senior management, and manage project documentation for proper handover upon completion.

Requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, at least 5 years of experience in IT project management, and proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall. Strong knowledge of project management tools like JIRA, Microsoft Project, and Asana is also essential.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are necessary to succeed in this position. PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus but not mandatory.
