Freight Forwarding Sales Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our sales team and drive business growth in Southeast Asia and Australia.

Job Description:
  • We are looking for a seasoned freight forwarding professional with a proven track record of success in sales leadership and new business development.
  • The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in global freight forwarding, with at least 5 years in a sales leadership or hunting role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and business development across Southeast Asia and Australia by identifying and securing new freight forwarding opportunities.
  • Manage key accounts to ensure customer retention, with a focus on cross-selling and upselling.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for both Samsung and non-Samsung clients.
  • Lead the Business Development team, ensuring achievement of revenue and profit targets on a monthly and semi-annual basis.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to secure competitive rates and space, maximizing profitability.
  • Stay updated on Air and Ocean freight market trends, pricing, and space availability.
  • Report sales team performance to senior management through regular weekly, monthly, and semi-annual reviews.
  • Promote in-house digital logistics solutions (Cello Square) through various marketing strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields.
