Job Title: Waiter / Waitress

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Seletar Country Club. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre and post restaurant housekeeping duties, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Operate the Point of Sales System for orders taking and guest billings, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Receive guests, make suggestions, and answer questions about food, wines, and promotions, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Place orders, receive food and beverages from the kitchen and bar, and serve to designated guests' tables as stated on the captain's orders.
  • Remove serving wares and cutlery after guests have completed a course, ensuring tables are complete with all required items.
  • Set up function rooms, preparing the mise-en-place for the restaurant's operation, including drawing, stocking, and laying table linen.
  • Stock side stations with linen, glassware, tableware, toothpick holders, sugar bowls, and condiments, maintaining a well-stocked and organized environment.
  • Clean and refill salt and pepper shakers, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Reset tables for 'new' guests when tables are resold during the course of the same meal period, maintaining a seamless dining experience.
  • Guide new staff on proper service procedures, table-settings, menu knowledge, and service times, providing a supportive and training environment.

Requirements:

  • Secondary education and above.
  • Ability to speak and write simple English.
  • Minimum 1 year relevant working experience in F&B.
  • Customer service-oriented.
  • Team worker.
