Job Role:

As an Associate Etch Engineer, you will play a vital role in the development and improvement of process capability indices to meet operational goals. The successful candidate will assist engineers in qualifying and fine-tuning processes for production, troubleshoot process-related issues, and minimize downtime. Additionally, they will create job-files for metrology tools, monitor and improve qualified processes using statistical tools, and participate in continuous improvement programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing, sustaining, and improving process capability indices.
  • Perform shift duties to support the running of Production.
  • Qualify and fine-tune processes for production.
  • Troubleshoot process-related issues.
  • Minimize time lots on hold.
  • Create job-files for metrology tools.
  • Monitor and improve qualified processes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/ Mechatronics/Mechanical/Microelectronics/Chemical Process Technology or equivalent preferred.
  • Basic engineering knowledge, which may include semiconductor devices theory, electronics, electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic control system, digital principle, wafer fabrication processes, pump and vacuum system, and electrical wiring system.
