Key Position: Project Logistics Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Logistics Specialist to join our logistics department. This key role will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth coordination of shipments and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities- Coordinate shipment schedules, bookings, and document preparation for international shipping (air, sea, and road transport).
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry for tracking shipments, processing orders, and providing quotes.
- Monitor shipments from point of origin to final destination, proactively communicating any delays and managing client expectations.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering solutions to enhance their logistics experience.
- Resolve any issues that arise during shipping process in a timely and effective manner.
- Prepare quotations on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Answer customer inquiries, schedule meetings, and sales appointments.
- 2-3 years of experience in inside sales, preferably in Freight Forwarding, shipping, and/or Logistics.
- Experience in administration and high-volume office work.
- Self-motivated with multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
