Job Overview

Our company is seeking an experienced Senior Application Designer to create the end-to-end technical solution for a next-generation Corporate Banking Portal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop the overall frontend architecture, selecting suitable frameworks, patterns, and state management libraries.
  • Design core application components, data flow, and client-side logic to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with backend teams to define and refine API contracts, ensuring efficient and secure data exchange between the client and server.
  • Establish standards and patterns for frontend performance optimization, asset bundling, and security best practices to protect against client-side vulnerabilities.
Backend Design (Architecture)
  • Lead the design of a distributed backend system using microservices architecture. Define service boundaries, responsibilities, and communication patterns.
  • Design robust database schemas and select appropriate database technologies for different use cases, focusing on data integrity, consistency, and performance.
  • Architect the core business logic, transaction management, and workflows for complex financial products.
  • Ensure the system is designed for high availability, fault tolerance, and horizontal scalability in a cloud environment.
Integration Design (Architecture)
  • Architect integrations between the portal and critical internal systems, including the Core Banking System, payment gateways, and compliance/AML engines.
  • Design and document secure, versioned, and reusable APIs for both internal consumption and potential external partners.
  • Apply enterprise integration patterns to ensure reliable and decoupled communication between disparate systems.
  • Define strategies for data mapping, transformation, and synchronization across multiple systems of record.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 6+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3+ years in a Solutions Architect, Tech Lead, or senior technical design role.
  • Advance proficiency in at least one backend language and one frontend framework.
  • Deep, hands-on knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and event-driven systems.
  • Strong experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
  • Deep domain knowledge in Corporate Banking, specifically Cash Management, Trade Finance, or Payments.
