Investigation Officer

Roles and Responsibilities

  • We are seeking an experienced Investigation Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting investigations, preparing reports, and providing evidence in court.
  • The Investigation Officer will also be required to take statements from witnesses and suspects, conduct searches and seizures, and gather intelligence information.
  • Additionally, the officer will be expected to maintain accurate and detailed records of all investigations, including notes, photographs, and other relevant documents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as the officer will need to interact with colleagues, witnesses, and suspects on a regular basis.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in investigation and surveillance work is essential.
  • The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • They will also have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Furthermore, the officer will need to be physically fit and able to handle dynamic situations in the field.
  • Experience in handling unruly or violent behaviour by offenders is also desirable.
