Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional Japanese dining experiences. As the face of our restaurant, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, mentoring staff, and driving wine and sake sales.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years' experience in restaurant management, preferably in Japanese cuisine. They will possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent knowledge of wine and sake.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing daily front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations
  • Mentoring staff in Japanese dining etiquette and wine knowledge
  • Developing promotions, seasonal menus, and wine-pairing experiences
  • Handling guest feedback with professionalism and care
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A professional certificate or equivalent
  • 5 years' experience in restaurant management, preferably in Japanese cuisine
  • Strong wine and sake knowledge; WSET certification a plus
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Food safety certification an advantage
  • Non-smokers preferred
