Job Title: Sales and Business Development Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Sales and Business Development Manager.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities through sales activities, generating new sales leads, negotiating contracts, and closing sales on assigned accounts.
  • Maintaining existing business relationships, establishing and building strong partnerships with potential clients, and researching the market to identify viable prospects are also key aspects of this role.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in sales of ocean freight business in a shipping line company or freight forwarding company, with a good knowledge of ocean freight export/import sales and operation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through sales activities, such as generating new sales leads, negotiating contracts, and closing sales on assigned accounts.
  • Maintain existing business relationships by establishing and building strong partnerships with potential clients, and researching the market to identify viable prospects.
  • Prepare periodical reports and meet submission deadlines, and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales of ocean freight business in a shipping line company or freight forwarding company.
  • Good knowledge of ocean freight export/import sales and operation, including FCL and LCL.
  • Experience in proposing services using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Brisk, active, and quick work ethic, with the ability to respond quickly and accurately in case of irregularities.
