About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage projects in underground and infrastructure development. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that feasibility studies are carried out efficiently, cost-effectively, and within regulatory requirements.
The role involves working with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and land planners to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing project briefs, schedules, and budgets;
- Coordinating and managing project consultants, contractors, and insurers;
- Reviewing and monitoring safety protocols and construction methods;
- Identifying potential design and construction-related issues and developing solutions;
- Liaising with stakeholders and managing project communication.
To succeed in this role, you will require strong leadership skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A background in civil engineering, rock mechanics, or engineering geology is essential, as is experience in underground projects.
