Technical Support Specialist – Advanced Medical Equipment

Our organization is seeking a dedicated Technical Support Specialist to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced medical equipment.

The role involves providing critical technical support to customers and internal teams by delivering timely on-site assistance, installing, upgrading, repairing, and maintaining complex medical instrument systems. Additionally, you will maintain up-to-date knowledge using service manuals, SOPs, and remote connectivity, manage service inventory to ensure first-time fix performance, collaborate with sales and marketing teams, build strong relationships with key clients, provide resolution for technical issues while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction, perform qualification and validation procedures at customer sites, and coordinate new system installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver timely on-site technical support to customers and internal teams.
  • Install, upgrade, repair, and maintain complex medical instrument systems.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge using service manuals, SOPs, and remote connectivity.
  • Manage service inventory to ensure first-time fix performance.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support system placements and promotional efforts.
  • Build strong relationships with key clients to support the success of their systems.
  • Provide resolution for technical issues while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Perform qualification and validation procedures at customer sites.
  • Coordinate and execute new system installations, including facility readiness assessments.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Biomedical, Mechanical, or related disciplines).
  • Experience servicing medical devices or analytical/laboratory instruments.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory best practices and safety protocols.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
