Job Title: Data Center Operations Site Lead

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the data center, ensuring that all plant, mechanical, and electrical systems are functioning properly. This includes managing maintenance programs, coordinating remedial action with the engineering team, and providing leadership to multi-skilled teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage site operations, including effective hiring, motivation, development, training, and discipline of site operation technicians and maintenance teams.
  • Monitor KPIs and up-time requirements.
  • Support site reviews, including maintenance standards, equipment replacement, security, change control, Tier adherence, and operational risk.
  • Ensure delivery of planned and reactive activities within financial operating targets.
  • Perform additional tasks as required by the Data Centre Operations Manager.
  • Provide advice and consultation on facilities engineering matters.
  • Responsibility for site repair and maintenance carried out by subcontractors.
  • Monitor, measure, and report upon the performance of specialist contractors.
  • Lead and support meetings with contractors, vendors, and suppliers.

Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in data center operations, with experience in managing maintenance programs, leading teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. They will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
