Senior Manager Talent Development

Job Description

The Senior Manager of Talent Development will lead a fully integrated team that enables the organization to become highly skilled and future-ready.

This role requires a strong leader who can effectively identify, develop, and deliver skills-centric opportunities to drive talent development and achieve business priorities.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of evolving talent requirements and trends, as well as experience in designing and implementing talent programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate a comprehensive strategy for talent development that aligns with the overall vision and priorities of the organization.
  • Establish strategic priorities and roadmaps that demonstrate an understanding of talent requirements across different functional organizations, cultures, and locations.
  • Enable AI-driven innovation by integrating AI capabilities into talent development strategies to ensure team members are equipped with the necessary AI skills to drive efficiency and productivity improvements.
  • Lead and foster high-performance teams that deliver consistent and successful programs and initiatives.
  • Recommend, design, and implement measurement and evaluation strategies to assess impact and outcomes.
  • Stay informed of industry skills developments and standard methodologies to inform talent development programs and initiatives.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in talent development, learning and development, human resources, procurement, or a related field, including demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from an accredited college/university; a master's degree in human resources, applied psychology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in designing and implementing talent programs and consulting with leaders to identify appropriate development experiences and solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively engage and cultivate collaborative relationships with individuals at all levels.
  • Ability to balance big picture thinking to define strategy while staying on top of details to translate and cascade strategic vision into actionable plans and achieve priorities.
  • Effective people developer with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team in a global and diverse environment.
