Life Skills Coach

Overview:

  • At InSchool, we provide a unique before and after school enrichment programme designed for neurodivergent children to build functional life skills, social confidence, and independence.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to creating a supportive learning environment that fosters student growth and development.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement lesson plans based on given curriculum.
  2. Conduct every session's content based on the lesson plans provided.
  3. Track students' progress, performance, and behaviour.
  4. Adjust lesson plan content and teaching methods/strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
  5. Collaborate with team members, parents, and therapists to support students' success.
  6. Build an inclusive and positive classroom environment that promotes student growth and development.
  7. Stay up-to-date with best practices in special needs education and pursue professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of working experience within a SPED school and/or worked with children with special needs.
  • Having a specialist diploma/degree in a relevant or related field or valid teaching certification in Special Education is beneficial.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Good patience, empathy, and desire to help students achieve their potential.
  • Takes the initiative, can be independent, and positively influences the team.
  • Resourceful, result-driven, problem-solves, flexible, and adaptable to the changing educational environment.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday (in-person and on-site)

Locations:

  • Common Ground Civic Centre, Bedok North Street 1, Singapore
  • Enabling Village, Lengkok Bahru, Canopy Block, Singapore
