Job Title: Life Skills Mentor

In our unique enrichment programme for neurodivergent children, we foster functional life skills and social confidence.

We seek a dedicated coach who is passionate about working with students with special needs. The ideal candidate will cultivate a supportive learning environment, driving positive change in the lives of families and children.

This role involves executing teaching duties, encompassing lesson planning, student assessments, and progress tracking. Collaboration with team members, parents, and therapists is crucial to support students' success. Additionally, maintaining best practices in special needs education and participating in professional development opportunities are essential requirements.

This position requires experience working in SPED schools or with children with special needs, including autism, intellectual disabilities, and Down syndrome. A specialist diploma/degree in a relevant field or valid teaching certification in Special Education is advantageous, but not mandatory. Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills are vital, as well as patience, empathy, and a desire to help students achieve their potential.

Besides enhancing academic skills, you will also develop personal growth strategies that promote self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience. Our goal is to empower students to reach their full potential and become confident, capable individuals.
