Job Title: Senior Java Software Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Java software architect to lead the development of our enterprise-grade applications using Java and AngularJS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and AngularJS, as well as experience working on large-scale projects.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems that meet the needs of our customers.
  • This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and ensure high-quality delivery.
  • The candidate will also be expected to mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Java and AngularJS development.
  • Strong command of Java 1.6 and Spring Framework 4.
  • Proficiency in AngularJS versions 1.5 to 1.8, with experience in maintaining and enhancing legacy front-end applications.
  • Prior experience working on government projects is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices and working in air-gapped or internet-restricted environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-security environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Angular migration projects or hybrid AngularJS + Angular environments.
  • Understanding of Singapore government IT compliance and audit processes.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
