Senior Java Software Architect
Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Java Software Architect to lead our team in designing and implementing complex IT systems using big data technology. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Core Java, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and containerization technologies like Docker & Kubernetes.
About the Role
This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions that meet business needs. We require a strong background in end-to-end design and implementation of complex software systems, as well as hands-on experience with Kafka messaging systems, Big Data frameworks like Storm, Hadoop, and Apache Flink. Additionally, expertise in Redis, MongoDB, and containerization technologies is advantageous. The candidate should be proficient in tools like Maven, GIT CICD, Cucumber, Kibana, and have knowledge of cloud technologies. A strong understanding of performance benchmarking, solution design using proven patterns, awareness of anti-patterns, and TDD/BDD driven development mindset is essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* At least 10 years of relevant working experience in Java/J2EE development
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* Strong knowledge of Core Java (Java 8+) and OOAD
* Experience in big data technology development
* Good understanding and working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
* Hands-on experience with Kafka messaging systems and Big Data frameworks like Storm, Hadoop, and Apache Flink
* Expertise in Redis, MongoDB, and containerization technologies is advantageous
* Proficiency in tools like Maven, GIT CICD, Cucumber, Kibana
* Knowledge of cloud technologies
