Job Title:

Software Developer - Web Application Specialist

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting an in-house web application, managing data workflows using advanced tools like Tableau and Databricks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of the in-house web application.
  • Implement change management, incident management, and application patching due to security vulnerabilities.
  • Maintain proper documentation of the application.
  • Support improvement initiatives for the existing in-house web application or building new websites as per business requirements.
  • Implement security controls and good coding practices into the application.
  • Complete change requests efficiently.
  • Optimize application performance when required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems with at least 1 year of experience.
  • Proficiency in backend development using C# and SQL.
  • Able to maintain and solve problems related to the website/portal.
  • Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, and AWS is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of coding languages (C#, MVC, ReactJS), SQL.
  • Experience with database and Object-Relational Mapping framework.
  • Ability to learn new languages and technologies quickly.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude.
  • Attention to detail.
