Job Description:

The role of the Maintenance Technician is a vital one, requiring a high level of service provision to customers and ensuring the smooth operation of the Engineering Department.

This involves assisting in the maintenance and repair of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.

Preventive maintenance tasks are also a key responsibility, ensuring that equipment functions properly and minimizing downtime.

Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to building management systems is another critical aspect of this role.

Effective collaboration with team members is essential in achieving departmental goals and objectives.

Maintaining a safe and clean work environment is paramount, adhering to established safety protocols and best practices.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience as a Technician/Tradesman in a hotel or 2 years' experience in a similar large building/complex with central plant is required.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to take on new challenges, and ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays are essential.
  • Prior experience in painting and maintenance work is desirable.
