Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Business Development Director to join our Revenue team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, with key connections in the government, mid-market, and enterprise sectors.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Partnership, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to generate sales leads in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop a business development pipeline by identifying opportunities and engaging with key prospects.
  • Plan and execute a territory plan with clear account prioritisation.
  • Prospect into new accounts and broaden coverage of existing accounts to uncover more opportunities and increase wallet share.
  • Map customer organisations and maintain relationships with C-level, directors, and key personnel.
  • Uncover customers' pressures, challenges, and priorities to effectively position our solutions to meet business objectives.
  • Lead tender submissions, run pricing and tender/proposal reviews with senior management to ensure alignment to the customer requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Impressive track record in B2B or B2G sales, with key established connections in the government, mid-market, and/or enterprise sectors.
  • Experience in public cloud business development or technical sales experience in developing ICT technologies, cloud native solution.
  • Knowledge of identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale IT and public cloud technology deals.
  • Knowledge of positioning and selling cloud and big data technology in new customers and new market segments.
  • Strong negotiator with sharp questioning and listening skills.
  • A highly self-motivated and independent worker.
  • Team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
