Job Description

As a Presales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical solutions to drive growth and success for the company's virtualization products and services.

You will work closely with the sales team to develop tailored solutions and provide technical expertise to customers.

  • Understanding customer requirements and mapping them to appropriate virtualization solutions
  • Conducting product demonstrations and proof of concepts to showcase the capabilities of VSTECS' virtualization offerings
  • Collaborating with the sales team to develop tailored solutions and provide technical expertise
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest virtualization technologies, trends, and industry developments
  • Providing post-sales support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Preparing technical proposals, presentations, and documentation to support the sales process
Required Skills and Qualifications

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is required.

5+ years of experience in a presales or technical sales role, preferably in the virtualization domain.

  • Excellent understanding of virtualization technologies, including VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, customer-friendly explanations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with customers at all levels
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and address customer needs
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
