Job Description: Procurement Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of procurement-related activities on multiple Capital projects in the Asia Pacific Region. This role requires adequate knowledge and information about the business and project to make informed value decisions for both the client and the company.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing procurement strategies with the client's representatives, area managers, construction manager, and controls manager for definition of purchasing and construction packages, including identification of critical materials.
  • Preparing procurement plans and assisting in scheduling equipment contract packages.
  • Participating in the preparation of detailed estimates and control budgets.
  • Supervising the preparation of commercial terms and conditions for contracts and purchase orders.
  • Carrying out necessary surveys to determine locally available materials/equipment and those to be purchased from international suppliers.
  • Ensuring project objectives of quality, cost, and schedule are met.
  • Ensuring lawful obligations of the company and client are passed on to suppliers and contractors.
  • Ensuring procurement is carried out in a professional and ethical manner.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or M&E Engineering, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a consultant or client representative.
  • Experience in procurement management services for pre-contract and post-contract stages.
  • Experience in Data Center, Life Cycle Replacement, and Office fit-out projects.
  • Relevant experience working with international teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment dealing with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English and Chinese.
