Job Overview

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for leading the procurement process for major goods and services across various Mapletree entities, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and SOPs. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive cost savings while maintaining high-quality products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to achieve competitive pricing and improve supplier relationships.
  • Collaborate with property management teams to understand their procurement needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and evaluate tender documents, analyze market trends, and conduct quality checks on goods and services.
  • Maintain and update approved vendor lists, including preferred vendors and e-procurement sourcing.
  • Plan and schedule procurement activities for term contracts and minor capital projects, ensuring timely approval and award.
  • Provide reports and statistics to management for review and analysis.
  • Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on strategic sourcing and contract negotiations.
  • Proven track record of driving cost savings and improving supplier relationships.
  • Familiarity with e-procurement systems and SAP is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Estimate Salary Range: SGD 120,000 - 180,000 per annum
