Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caring Professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized supervision and guidance to the children and young persons in your care. This includes creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.

In addition to daily caregiving duties, you will also be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the home. This includes maintaining accurate records, reporting any incidents or concerns to management, and participating in team meetings and training sessions.

To excel in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with children and young people from diverse backgrounds. You should also be able to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, and demonstrate empathy and patience when dealing with difficult behaviors.

Requirements
  • Diploma in any discipline
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience (fresh graduates may also be considered)
  • Experience working or volunteering with children and youth groups is an added advantage
  • Able to interact positively with children and youths and enforce discipline in a fair and respectful manner
  • Empathy and Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • The ability to work well with others
  • Good communication skills to interact with a diverse group of residents
  • Good team player with a high level of initiative and independence
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work a 5-day workweek on nights shifts from 10 pm to 7 am, including weekends and public holidays
