Infant Care Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and caring professional to fill this key role.

  • Nurturing care for infants is essential to ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being. Provide high-quality care that promotes healthy development and creates a positive environment for growth.
  • Implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate infants' physical, cognitive, and emotional development. Engage in playful interactions, reading, singing, and other stimulating activities to foster a love for learning.
  • Foster a supportive environment that encourages social interactions and curiosity. Create opportunities for babies to explore and discover the world around them.
  • Monitor infants' health and development, and report any concerns to management. Stay up-to-date with child development milestones and best practices in infant care.
  • Establish and maintain good communication with parents regarding their child's progress, routines, and needs. Keep parents informed about their baby's daily activities, meals, sleep patterns, and any notable events.
  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment. Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, adhering to all necessary regulations and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • A Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or Infant Care, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Certification in Infant and Toddler Care (if applicable).
  • A passion for working with infants and young children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of child development milestones and early childhood practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
