Senior Compliance Expert

We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Expert to lead our end-to-end delivery of AML/KYC and regulatory compliance projects across global or regional banking operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management within the banking or financial services sector, with expertise in Anti Money Laundering (AML), KYC, Transaction Monitoring, Currency Transaction Reporting, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and SAR (Suspicious Activity Report).

The successful candidate will demonstrate success in leading large-scale, cross-border regulatory programs or system implementations. They will possess PMP, Prince2, or similar project management certification, experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies and hybrid delivery models, and excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of AML/KYC and regulatory compliance projects across global or regional banking operations
  • Manage project scope, timeline, budget, risks, and resources effectively
  • Engage with key stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, Operations, IT, and external regulators
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear project plans with measurable deliverables
  • Ensure alignment with internal control policies, audit standards, and regulatory expectations
  • Oversee implementation of new KYC onboarding platforms, AML transaction monitoring systems, or remediation programs
  • Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and communication
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives across compliance and operational risk frameworks

Skill Requirements:

  • Project Management within the Banking or Financial Services Sector
  • Anti Money Laundering (AML) and KYC
  • Transaction Monitoring, Currency Transaction Reporting, and Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
  • Leadership, Communication, and Stakeholder Management Skills
  • Agile/Waterfall Methodologies and Hybrid Delivery Models
