Job Title: Linen Service Coordinator
Linen Service Coordinators play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of linens in various establishments. They are responsible for ensuring that linens are properly received, counted, and distributed to the required areas.
Job Responsibilities:
- Checking and counting soiled linens received against the linen changing list recorded by room attendants
- Distributing clean linens to room attendants based on the number of soiled linens recorded
- Updating stock inventory records to ensure accurate tracking of linens
- Inspecting staff uniforms before sending them to the laundry contractor to ensure they meet quality standards
- Responsible for daily posting of soiled uniforms, house linens, catering lines, and sending them to the laundry contractor
Requirements:
- Possess minimum secondary education or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping or related field
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to work 6 days a week, including Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays
- Preferably able to communicate English and Mandarin to interact with colleagues who may not speak these languages
