Responsibilities
  • Manage Linen Department / Operations scope for linen in Serangoon Nursing Home/ Chronic Sick Ward / Potong Pasir Nursing Home.
  • Supervise Linen Attendants.
  • Ensure smooth operations of the linen department including staff rostering.
  • Propose and collaborate with various stakeholders on the annual budget plan for uniform purchases.
  • Coordinate Uniform Mass Measurement with stakeholders and manage procurement with the Materials Management Department.
  • Establishing and managing of linens and laundry contracts.
  • Monitor and track department's KPI and to ensure they are met.
  • Streamline linen department processes to increase operational efficiency.
  • Conduct linen audits and stock counts to maintain adequate linen stock levels, ensuring a continuous supply for the nursing home.
  • Plan and manage linen department budget and monitor expenditures.
  • Manage outsource linen laundry
  • Liaise with service provider regarding laundry service.

Requirements
  • Possess Degree/Diploma in any discipline.
  • Preferably 3-4 years' with supervisory experience,
  • Experience with laundry / logistics / MMD / healthcare will be an advantage.
  • Possess strong communication and problem-solving skill.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, projects and prioritise.
  • Able to work independently, self-motivated and great team player.
