Physiotherapy Expert

The Physiotherapy Expert plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality physiotherapy treatments to patients with physical impairments, disabilities, or injuries. The primary goal is to restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall function and quality of life while ensuring patient safety, education, and empowerment throughout the rehabilitation process.

Key Responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities, developing and implementing individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans tailored to each patient's needs, providing hands-on therapy, exercise programs, and manual techniques to aid recovery and promote independence, evaluating patient progress and making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary, collaborating with doctors and other healthcare professionals for integrated care and shared goals, educating patients on treatment plans, exercise techniques, posture, and injury prevention strategies, promoting self-management skills and empowering patients to take an active role in their rehabilitation, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient treatment records in compliance with clinical and safety protocols, participating in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge, and supervising and guiding sport trainers, students, and interns in their engagement, providing oversight and mentorship.

Required Skills & Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent recognized qualification), full registration or eligibility for registration with AHPC Singapore, minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred but new graduates with strong clinical placements are also welcome, strong clinical reasoning, manual therapy, and exercise prescription skills, experience or interest in working with sports injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, or chronic disease, excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, empathetic, patient-focused, and committed to evidence-based practice.
