Strategic Planner - Hospital Redevelopment
This is a pivotal role within our organization where you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of a major hospital redevelopment project.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the reporting officer and head of department in facilitating the redevelopment process, including strategic planning, knowledge management, user engagement, project management, budget monitoring, status reporting, and meeting secretariat.
- Work on long-term infrastructure planning for the hospital's impending redevelopment, including coordination with NUH clinical services planning, considering NUHS cluster-level and national priorities and focus areas.
- Manage internal requests and work with external parties such as the NUHS cluster-level, MOH & MOH Holdings, building authorities as required.
- Support the secretariat team in a timely and well-coordinated manner, including formulation and approval of plans, setting and appraisal of targets.
- Develop a system for knowledge management to document all discussions related to the redevelopment and ensure the system remains updated and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct horizon scanning of global, regional, and national trends and events, adjusting plans accordingly.
- Establish corresponding budgets and resource requirements.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting officer/hod.
A degree in business administration, health administration, or biomedical-related field is essential. At least 3-4 years' working experience, preferably in the healthcare industry and/or project management, is advantageous.
Excellent planning, analytical, quantitative, and communication skills (written and verbal) are necessary.
Adaptability, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to work independently or in a team are also crucial.
