Job Overview

As a crucial member of our team, the Events and Marketing Executive plays a pivotal role in driving growth by securing vital donations through fundraising events and campaigns. This individual should be innovative and proactive in developing and executing fundraising plans, creating engaging content, and building strong relationships with donors and partners to increase annual donation income.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and execution of strategic fundraising initiatives that meet financial targets.
  • Drive consistent donations through HopeBuilders – monthly recurring donors.
  • Draft compelling social media content to promote fundraising campaigns.
  • Manage event planning, coordination, and execution, including sourcing sponsors and vendors, monitoring workflows and timelines, handling event logistics, marketing efforts, and preparing post-event reports.
  • Conceptualise and set up engaging volunteer programs and projects designed to resonate with partners and donors.
Requirements
  • A diploma or tertiary graduate with a minimum of two consecutive years of events management experience, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • A detail-oriented and efficient multi-tasker who is proactive, resourceful, and tackles challenges head-on.
  • Adaptable team player, able to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management/CRM software.
  • Familiar and active on various social media platforms.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to uphold our principles.
