We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled General Manager to lead our Southeast Asia (SEA) operations. As a key member of the Arthrex APAC leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding our customer base, and establishing strategic objectives for the Company in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Define and execute a long-term vision and roadmap to accelerate growth and business model transformation in SEA, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
  • Operational Excellence: Run a business rhythm to track progress against targets, develop correction plans for negative variance to budget, and develop upside plans.
  • Cross-Segment Collaboration: Drive strong collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders within SEA, APAC, and globally to deliver against business goals.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing regional team to fit the expanding business throughout SEA while establishing and maintaining the strong company brand.
  • Product Launch: Ensure product launch plans are executed with collaboration across Commercial, Regulatory, Ops, PM, and Medical Education teams.
  • Business Planning: Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations, process improvements, and market development activities to maximize return on investment (ROI) and optimize efficiencies.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the company's financial performance, investments, and other business ventures.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company growth and sustainability.
  • Culture Building: Foster the Arthrex Proud APAC Values and build allyship-based action plans to create a healthy team culture through a positive working environment, ensuring high productivity, employee engagement, and performance.
About You

We are looking for a seasoned executive with a proven track record of delivering growth and achieving key commercial objectives. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive knowledge: Proven successful experience in leading a growth-focused business within the SEA orthopaedic industry (sports medicine preferred) and a good understanding of operations.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience in working with both direct sales teams and distributors, with a proven track record of managing P&L, financial management (key scorecard metrics), and effective communication skills.
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to lead and work with cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, medical affairs, and regulatory affairs and quality.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Apply an entrepreneurial mindset and innovative thinking to identifying and executing opportunities, with an ability to be agile and hands-on.
  • High Standards: Possess high standards for performance and compliance.
  • Influence and Communication: Ability to influence multiple stakeholder groups and connect with diverse audiences.
  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience leading a multi-country, highly diverse team (US MNCs preferred).
