Software Quality Assurance Specialist

The Software Quality Assurance Specialist is a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the development team to understand design specifications and create test plans.
  • Generate tests, characterize software on various platforms, and debug results.
  • Perform statistical analysis of software yield fallout, debug, and fix issues; optimize testing time.
  • Collaborate with the production team to release software to volume production.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in software quality assurance, preferably with analog circuitry knowledge.
  • Strong technical knowledge of software development methodologies and electronic devices.
  • Data analysis skills using specialized tools such as Spotfire.
  • Experience with lab equipment such as scopes, power supplies, sourcemeters, loads, etc.
  • Understanding of the software product development process, from concept to volume production.
