Strategic Sales Leader for South East Asia and Taiwan

WGT EHR Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to lead our South East Asia and Taiwan sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of strategic sales growth, strong customer relationships, and extensive travel experience across the region.
About the RoleThis role requires:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand customer base within the region
- BUILDING and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Leading, mentoring, and managing a diverse sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
- Providing regular sales forecasts and reports
- Identifying new business opportunities and market trends to drive growth and stay ahead of the competition
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
- Monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and making data-driven decisions to optimize sales efforts
- Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate leads
The successful candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
- Experience in the industrial automation sector, with a strong network of contacts in the industry
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales, with a focus on the South East Asia and Taiwan markets
- Strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the industrial automation sector
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies, driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities
- Knowledge of the latest market trends and technological advancements in industrial automation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions
We offer a competitive salary range of SGD $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
