About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to drive our sourcing activities. As a Principal Procurement Engineer, you will collaborate with various partners to optimize cost, quality, inventory, and delivery while minimizing total ownership costs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement supply chain procurement and engineering strategies for manufacturing and product development services.
  • Evaluate and ensure the quality and cost of supplies meet our expectations.
  • Negotiate contracts, coordinate supplier selection, manage quality assurance, and promote cost reduction initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Authority:
  • Establish commodity strategies and business plans to support projects.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors.
  • Promote cost reduction activities across the organization.
  • Manage supplier costs and allocation effectively.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Management.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement within the electronics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical part procurement, vendor base, and negotiation skills.
  • Leadership qualities, initiative, and customer satisfaction understanding.
  • Ability to organize, schedule, control costs, and maximize efficiency.
