IT Project Manager Position

A senior IT project coordinator is a key role in ensuring the success of business system projects. The person in this position will be responsible for coordinating and managing obsolescence-related projects, serving as a liaison between cross-functional teams and other stakeholders, monitoring and tracking remediation efforts, preparing regular status updates, and negotiating contracts.
Key Responsibilities- Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage obsolescence-related projects to ensure alignment with business objectives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Liaison Role: Serve as a key liaison between cross-functional teams and other stakeholders (including vendors) when necessary to facilitate communication and collaboration, driving mutual benefits and enhancing efficiency.
- Remediation Efforts: Monitor and track remediation efforts and budgets for obsolescence and other security-related projects, providing regular updates to management to inform decision-making and drive project success.
- Status Updates: Prepare and present regular status updates, dashboards, and reports to management to inform decision-making and drive project success, highlighting key accomplishments and areas for improvement.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize value and minimize risk while ensuring alignment with business goals, collaborating with stakeholders to align vendor capabilities with business needs.
