Corporate Banking Relationship Manager

This role supports Relationship Managers in driving overall performance, control and management of business growth in branch activities by acquiring and maintaining long-term relationships with corporate banking clients, particularly from Syndications and Structured & Commodity Trade Finance (SCTF).
- Work closely with Team Head and Senior Relationship Managers in developing and maintaining business relationships with existing and potential corporate clients.
- Participate in marketing and selling of corporate banking services and products offered by the bank.
- Formulate and execute coherent account strategy for each client to maximize total revenues from portfolio.
- Assist Relationship Managers in customer enquiries and/or transaction related to account balances, deposit renewals, loan rollovers, foreign exchange, etc.
- Ensure clients have demonstrated path for generating acceptable risk/return revenues through cross-selling of other products (deposits, FX, DCM etc).
- Comply with all company policies and regulatory requirements in carrying out objectives.
- Provide support to originate & execute Structured Finance transactions, including mergers & acquisitions financing, project financing, syndications for South East Asia.
- Support Relationship Managers in all aspects of Structured & Commodity Trade Finance business.
- Support Relationship Managers for credit risk related matters, including credit application papers and loan reviews.
- Ensure compliance with Group's Policy & Local Underwriting Standards and in country regulatory requirements and laws pertaining to AML, KYC, etc.
- Take overall responsibility and accountability for credit quality of assigned/acquired portfolio.
- Flag up early warning signals to Risk Management function and restructure limits to protect Bank's exposure, if required.
- Comply with anti-money laundering / counter terrorist financing requirement and sanction risks controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.
- Bachelor Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field.

- Previous experience in sizable bank or financial institution involving wholesale banking focusing on structured commodity trade finance advantageous.
- Sound wholesale banking and product knowledge with credit analysis training will be an advantage.
- Knowledge in Syndications and Structured & Commodity Trade Finance would be a plus.
- Good knowledge of other product offerings especially cash management and foreign exchange.
- Good understanding of legal terms and documentation procedures with relation to Syndications and Structured & Commodity Trade Finance would be advantageous.
