Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team at DUKE BAKERY PTE. LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail stores, ensuring that all aspects of store management are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Store Operations: Oversee and manage the daily operations of our retail stores, including inventory management, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising.
  • Customer Service Management: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that customer satisfaction is consistently high.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of store staff, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and control inventory levels across all stores, ensuring that stock levels are optimized and that stockouts are minimized.
  • Cash Management: Oversee and manage cash handling procedures, ensuring that all cash transactions are accurate and secure.
  • Cost Management: Manage and control costs across all stores, ensuring that expenses are minimized and that budgets are met.
  • Visual Merchandising: Oversee and manage visual merchandising across all stores, ensuring that displays are attractive and appealing to customers.
  • Housekeeping: Ensure that all stores are clean and well-maintained, with high standards of housekeeping and hygiene.
  • Job Descriptions: Develop and implement job descriptions for all store staff, ensuring that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and understood.
  • Formulation: Develop and implement business plans and strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Climate: Monitor and respond to changes in the market and customer needs, adapting our business strategies accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a bakery or food retail environment.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
