Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Information Security Officer to join our organization. This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and expertise in cybersecurity.

  • Built positive relationships with senior executives to understand their business goals.
  • Translated complex technical details about security, IT, and observability into strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing an Enterprise Wide Cyber Security Strategy and Program. This includes:

  • Representing the company at Executive Briefing Center (EBC) meetings as a knowledgeable expert.
  • Led discussions passionate about business and technical outcomes using Splunk's capabilities.
Collaboration

We value collaboration and teamwork. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering to provide valuable insights that improve products and align them with customer needs.

  • Assisted in strategic sales opportunities by collaborating with sales teams, attending meetings, and involved in calls to help craft effective account plans.
Thought Leadership

A leader with vision in various settings, demonstrating how Splunk's solutions helped customers address top business challenges.

  • Stayed informed on industry trends to guide customer priorities.
Evangelism and Advocacy

Promote solutions at conferences, trade shows, and other public events.

  • Engaged in blogging, writing, and speaking opportunities, and participated in customer advisory boards.

The ideal candidate has held a position as Chief Information Security Officer or Head of Information Security and demonstrated experience in planning, development, and execution of an Enterprise Wide Cyber Security Strategy and Program for one or more organizations.
