This is an exceptional opportunity for a visionary leader to drive technical excellence, scalability, and security while guiding a talented engineering team through strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development, with at least three years of experience in engineering management. They should be well-versed in Python for backend services, AWS, and cloud-native ecosystems.

About the Role
  • Spearhead the technical vision and guide architectural decisions to ensure the platform's scalability, security, and excellence.
  • Oversight of cross-functional teams, including frontend, backend, DevSecOps, data, and analytics.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration among team members.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent, ensuring a diverse and skilled workforce.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Product, Customer Success, Sustainability, and Solution Engineering.
  • Drive feature delivery across the product lifecycle, ensuring timely execution and quality adherence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Set the technological direction and make informed architectural decisions to drive platform success.
  • Mitigate technical risk, optimize approaches, and assess trade-offs to maintain a secure and scalable codebase.
  • Lead hiring efforts, close skill gaps proactively, and foster a culture of growth and self-starting initiative.
  • Collaborate with Design to deliver user-centered experiences and work closely with Product to prioritize roadmap features.
  • Establish robust logging, alerting, and monitoring systems, and lead incident response efforts to minimize customer impact.
  • Architect systems for high availability, performance, and scalability, while optimizing cloud infrastructure costs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in engineering management, preferably in B2B or enterprise-grade SaaS environments.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, strategic decision-making, and prioritization skills in a data-driven environment.
