Electrical Installation Specialist Job Description">

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering and be able to work independently to complete project timelines and fulfill schedules.

  • ]
  • Coordinate and supervise equipment installation and cable termination work, perform quality checks and site acceptance tests]
  • Supervise the installation of UPS batteries, conduct charging and discharging tests]
  • Install 440V switchgear, perform bus bar insulation testing, bus bar contact resistance testing, ACB function testing, and M102 motor controller function testing at site]
  • Conduct high potential (HI-POT) tests for LV switchgear bus bars]
  • Scheme checking and commissioning tests for all types of control panels, as well as online troubleshooting work]
  • Test equipment such as drawers, breakers, M102 relays, isolators, and protection relays]
  • Coordinate with commissioning teams and meet their timely requirements]
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and equipment suppliers for technical issues]
  • Closing FAT and SAT punch at site]
  • M102 primary injection testing]
  • LV switchgear signal check with IMCS and ENMCS]
  • Able to multitask on various projects to strict time scales with professionalism and integrity]
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • ]
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field]
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within the energy or offshore wind/oil & gas industry]
  • Experience working with FPSO vessels]
  • Good experience with switchboards and industrial power conversion equipment like generators, transformers, converters, motors, energy storage, cabling etc]
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills]
